It was a wonderful experience for both my husband and I. I thought that it was overall a nice place. I was upset that they did not offer in house physical therapy to their residents.

I would NOT recommend this place and hope that reviews of this nature will prompt some action to improve conditions for all the residents there. I'm a friend of a resident at this assisted living facility. This facility is in need of new management. I visited on several weekends and the meals on the weekend are always the same grilled cheese and a soup. The other issue is they always lose the residents clothes regardless if they're labeled with the residents name. Our proximity to entertainment, recreational, medical centers, and our provided amenities make it a desirable destination for seniors. Amber Court Assisted Living of Westbury was a shared room, and they didn't have memory care that my father-in-law needed.

The person who assisted me was very pleasant and answered all my inquiries. Amber Court seemed to be a good environment for my situation. My husband has Alzheimer’s, so it seemed like a good idea.
